Night K beauty Routine: Repair While You Sleep

Nighttime is when your skin repairs itself. Cell turnover peaks between 11 PM and 4 AM, making your PM routine the most impactful part of your skincare. This is where you use actives, heavier moisturisers, and treatments.

The Routine

Oil Cleanse (Every Night)

Remove every trace of sunscreen, makeup, and pollution. Massage for 1-2 minutes.

Tip This is non-negotiable, sleeping in sunscreen is one of the biggest skincare mistakes.

Water-Based Cleanse

Thoroughly cleanse your actual skin. This is where you can use a cleanser with gentle actives.

Tip Use lukewarm water, hot water strips oils and triggers redness.

Exfoliate (2-3x Week)

Chemical exfoliants work best at night when your skin isn't exposed to UV. Rotate AHA and BHA.

Tip Never physically scrub and chemically exfoliate on the same night.

Treatment Serum

Retinol, peptides, or targeted treatments. Night is when active ingredients do their best work.

Tip If using retinol, wait 20 minutes after cleansing before applying to reduce irritation.

Rich Moisturiser or Sleeping Mask

Heavier than your morning moisturiser. Sleeping masks create an occlusive layer that locks everything in.

Tip Sleeping masks 2-3x a week give you that "woke up like this" glow.
